HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair opens
The 37th HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn edition), organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the 21st electronicAsia, opened on Friday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It will continue until October 16.
As the world’s largest electronics marketplace, the Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia attracted some 4,300 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions this year. The HKTDC has organised 140 buying missions, representing more than 9,000 companies from 64 countries and regions for the two fairs.
“Given the scale of the Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia, the two fairs have become the most important sourcing platform for the electronics industry. We, however, do not plan to stop here,” said HKTDC deputy executive director Benjamin Chau. “With the scale of the fairs and the golden opportunity when international industry players all gather in Hong Kong, we hope to help start-ups expand their business, while providing a platform for the electronics and technology industry to exchange information and push forward.”
